I'm here to share a terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a warning to others. My old glasses broke, so I urgently ordered a new pair on March 30th and even paid extra for 3-5 day express shipping. Now, over two weeks later, I still don't have my glasses! It's outrageous, my order is still 6 days out on delivery. This whole ordeal compelled me to call customer service and leave this review, because frankly, this company doesn't seem to give a crap about its customers.
Customer: Hi, I ordered glasses on March 30th, order number XXXXX, and paid for express shipping because my old ones broke. It's day 11 and they're still not here. The tracking shows they're still in production. What's going on? CS Rep: I apologize for the delay, sir/ma'am. I see your order is still processing. Sometimes there are unexpected delays in production. I understand your frustration, especially since you paid for express shipping. Customer: Unexpected delays? I paid extra to get these quickly! It's been 11 days. I need my glasses. At the very least, I want my express shipping fee refunded. This is unacceptable. CS Rep: I completely understand. You are absolutely right to be upset. I can certainly process a refund for your $10 express shipping fee immediately. It should reflect in your account within 3-5 business days. We are also doing our best to expedite your order, though it still shows a projected delivery in about 6 days. Customer: Six more days? So it's going to be nearly three weeks for glasses I paid for express delivery on? This is ridiculous.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap and to highlight the complete lack of care for customer needs.
